Section 16
Apprentices can be employed
: (1) An institution may employ a person as an apprentice in accordance with the approved curriculum of such institution by entering into an agreement with an educational institution.
(2) The trainees as per sub-section (1) shall not be considered as workers for the purpose of this Act. But if he is employed contrary to the approved course, he will be considered as a worker in regular employment.
